50% chance of rocks…

I had a brief encounter with fame today while photographing (my personal favorite) meteorologist, Greg Fishel of WRAL-TV. I caught up with Greg at Life time Fitness in Regency Park and talked him into showing us some of his famous rock-climbing moves. Greg was very accommodating to my “just one more” style while holding up his body weight by a toe and two fingers and even managed to continually flash that well-known smile.

My sincerest thanks go out to Greg and Life Time fitness for accommodating us during the photo shoot.

Unusual combinations…

For one of my clients, I have undertaken a project of combining unusual professions for photos.  In our first venture, we paired a dentist with a bakery (sweets) for the photos.  La Farm Bakery was gracious enough to let me invade their space and photograph their award winning baker, Lionel, with dentist Allan Acton caught in the act of indulging his sweet tooth.  Both Allan and Lionel were great to work with as I pushed and prodded them two inches left, one inch forward numerous times over the session.  I do want to mention the fact I got to mark off a life ambition from my little black book – telling a dentist to open wider.  :)

By the way, if you get a chance to swing by La Farm, I highly recommend, well, almost the entire store!  Allan, sorry I didn’t get a chance to sample your profession but if I keep raiding my pantry for oreos @ midnight, I’m sure you’ll see me soon.  :)

Here’s a couple photos from the session.
