Monthly Archives: May 2010 One of my goals this year was to expand my wedding venue experience within North Carolina. Having photographed in most Raleigh venues, I was really looking forward to visiting Asheville, NC and photographing Erin & Thij’s Grove Park Inn wedding. When I arrived it was either very late, or really early, depending on your viewpoint…  This week I was back at one of my favorite hotels for Christy & Charles wedding. There is something special about an Umstead Wedding. I’m not sure if its the service, the surroundings or just the fact I know most of the wonderful staff at the the Umstead Hotel. These are just beautiful photos. Your images are so sharp and crisp, and very unique. It’s nice to see the black and white mixed in as well for they capture so much detail! Awesome job. And congrats to Christy and Charles!

Great photos again and as always, Brian! Would love to have that one of me with the couple holding their hands up! For those who were not there, that was a hoorah for having made it all the way through the ceremony without the sky opening up on us! I have never talked so fast and skipped so many sentences to get us through the wonderful ceremony Christy and Charles created. Got in everything that was really important, especially the poem in tribute to their doggies!
