Well, more like a long afternoon. On Monday I traveled to Charlotte NC for a one-day seminar with Tero Sade. You probably don’t know the name unless you’re a wedding photographer, or live in Australia or Tasmania, or both. Tero is a very, very successful portrait photographer who can claim he has built not one, but two multi-million dollar portrait studios from scratch. He was lecturing to wedding photographers on the business of portrait photography and described the marketing and promotions that worked for him and how we can bring that to the Raleigh & Charlotte areas of NC.
Of course, we got to see his work as well which is fantastic (always helps), but I really came away with some ideas for marketing and promoting my business for both portrait and wedding photography.
Alas, I didn’t bring my camera but I did capture one shot of my nametag.
