Dawn & Bryan Stewart held a beautifully intimate affair this weekend at the Barrington House in Dunn, North Carolina. Having never been there before but seen a few pictures (that didn’t do it justice), I was filled with glee upon first setting my eyes on the facility. I don’t know the history of the house, but it certainly is either late 1800’s or very early 1900’s and has been restored to its original condition and decorated very elegantly on both the inside and outside.
It serves as a bed & breakfast and has so many photographic opportunities, I probably annoyed the happy couple to take photos in all sorts of locations.
It was a very intimate gathering of about 40 people and they were married underneath a gazebo in the “backyard”. With a 3-tiered fountain as a backdrop, they exchanged their vows and sealed it with a kiss that, literally, everyone in the crowd felt because of the true love between them. From the ceremony we went straight to the food that is well worth the drive, even without the beautiful surroundings you’re dining in. Good friends, family and a happy couple made for a truly unforgettable celebration.
