Earlier this week I attended my 1st NACE event as a member. I also happened to be the stand-in historian for the evening so I arrived early with camera in tow. Rigsbee Hall in Durham is a newer facility that really has endless possibilities. The space is fairly wide open and can easily accommodate 150 guests and boasts such features as a catering kitchen, video projector with drop down screen, (coming soon) wireless internet, and works with some of the best vendors in the area to truly make your evening “one of a kind”. The main attraction for the evening was a fashion show emceed by Mark Day. The event showcased various styles of both executive or party wear as well as event staff fashion. Overall the evening was a smashing success and I look forward to attending the next event!
