Kara & Graham | Carolina Inn Wedding

One of my favorite wedding venues in Chapel Hill is the Carolina inn.  The facility specializes in elegant weddings and with multiple rooms for receptions and outside accommodations for ceremonies & cocktail hours, it’s really a wedding photographers ideal location to get amazing photos. Located just off the UNC campus, many times we can walk to the Old Well, the Quad, Morehead Planetarium or other scenic areas for wedding party and bridal photos on the day of the wedding.

Kara & Graham had their Carolina Inn Wedding in the spring (yes, I am that far behind on blogging) and chose to have their ceremony in the Bryan Courtyard and their wedding reception in the gorgeous Old Well room. Both of them got ready for their wedding in the Carolina Inn surrounded by their family and bridal party which makes for great photos.

Graham, as you should be able to guess from their pictures, is from Scotland and elected to go with a traditional Scottish wedding attire for the guys where Kara is wearing more American wedding attire. After they said their wedding vows in the Bryan Courtyard, we moved around the Carolina Inn grounds for wedding portraits of just the two of them before we returned to the old well room for their reception.

Their reception was full of dancing, laughter and lots of traditional Scottish dances where everyone (possible even us photographers) where dancing and bopping around the room.

I’d like to give my most heartfelt congratulations to both Kara & Graham. I loved getting to know both you and your families & friends throughout your wedding and I wish you both all the best in your upcoming life together!
