I have been shooting so many different disciplines lately that it was a very nice “homecoming” of sorts to get back to the Highgrove in Fuquay-Varina, NC for their fabulous wedding client tasting event. Now, before someone wisecracks asking how the clients tasted, this was a tasting FOR...  It’s been an amazing year for photography and I didn’t think it could literally get any better. That was until I was approached by the Umstead Hotel to cover their 1st ever New years Eve Gala event photography. Needless to say I was absolutely elated as the Umstead really knows how to take care of... no comments  This weekend was the Annual Anna’s Angels benefit for Downs Syndrome research. This was my 3rd Anna’s Angels benefit I’ve been invited to but, unfortunately (for the past two years anway) it was the first time I could make it all the way thru. I had been asked to cover this for Cary Magazine and... no comments  Once a year, the leaders of industry, education and government from North Carolina and Japan congregate for a relationship & knowledge sharing session. This year the conference was held in North Carolina and I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph their initial gathering at the Research triangle Foundation and a very exclusive dinner... no comments |
