Category Archives: Event Photography In case you missed it last year, the American Tobacco Campus water tower lighting ceremony was, well, pretty awesome! With a VIP party at Bay 7, some serious works of edible art from the Art institute, multiple groups singing and playing music, Wolly Clause (Woll E Bully – the Durham Bulls baseball mascot), 50 Christmas…  Things are certainly staying hot in August. I have been shooting so many different disciplines lately that it was a very nice “homecoming” of sorts to get back to the Highgrove in Fuquay-Varina, NC for their fabulous wedding client tasting event. You’ve captured the food really well; it all looks delicious.  It’s been an amazing year for photography and I didn’t think it could literally get any better. That was until I was approached by the Umstead Hotel to cover their 1st ever New years Eve Gala event photography. Needless to say I was absolutely elated as the Umstead really knows how to take care of… no comments  This weekend was the Annual Anna’s Angels benefit for Downs Syndrome research. This was my 3rd Anna’s Angels benefit I’ve been invited to but, unfortunately (for the past two years anway) it was the first time I could make it all the way thru. I had been asked to cover this for Cary Magazine and… no comments |
