Category Archives: Wedding Photography I’ve gotten to know Ashley & Brook pretty well in the months coming up to their Mast Farm inn Wedding in Banner Elk, NC. Having shot their engagement session and Ashley’s bridal portrait at the Reynolda Gardens, it was a real pleasure to drive go back to the Asheville, NC area and capture their gorgeous…  I’d say once a year I get a really cool wedding on a relatively short time frame. In wedding terms, that’s 3-4 months. This year however, I was forced to redefine “short time frame” as my clients, Nazli & Gunar, were planning their Turkish wedding in a grand total of 17 days. Just breathtaking photos!  As you can probably guess from my last blog post (Monique’s bridal portrait), Monique & Johnny got married! Now, I’ve shot quite a few weddings at the Umstead Hotel before and they are always unbelievably fantastic, but this is definitely one of the most gorgeous ones I have seen. Got lucky with the rain. The umbrellas make for a great shot. Rain is great for the cameras, but it can be great for unique images. Great wedding.

Gorgeous venue, beautiful images Brian!  Well, wedding season is in full swing here in Raleigh. Starting off the spring wedding season I found myself at the Angus Barn Pavilion, a gorgeous location complete with a lake, outdoor barn and a big ass fan (this is the trademarked name). Ha ha ha ha ha . . . the fake teeth photo took me completely by surprise! I honestly did a double-take and then laughed out loud! These are fabulous, and it looks like a fun party and VERY happy couple. Great job, Brian.
