Well, not exactly a field trip for me, but for the 10 children I worked with today, it certainly was. I worked with Darrell Allison, president of the Parents for Educational Freedom in North Carolina. Darrell was elected to be on the cover of a local magazine and needed a photo shoot setup to fulfill the printing requirements. We met at the NC Legislative Building in downtown Raleigh and worked on the NC Seal located at the front doors. The kids were, well, great to work with and really added a great dimension to the photoshoot.
The PEFNC advocates the right of parents to choose how their children are schooled, a very very worthy cause in my opinion. I wish Darrell the best of luck and hope all the publicity the cover generates really helps out his cause!
