This past weekend I was at the Wake Chapel in Fuquay-Varina, NC to photograph Kat & Wayne’s marriage. This lovely chapel was founded in 1856 and has a wonderful historic feel to it as soon as you walk in the doors. Both of them were such a pleasure to work with – I didn’t get a “you want me to do what???” statement even once. Kat even volunteered to get onto the tractor (below) which really captured the essence of the day. The reception ended a bit early (which was surprising considering how good the band was) so we took advantage and went to downtown Raleigh (dress & tux intact) to visit the place where they first met – Bogarts.
