Being a Raleigh Magazine Photographer involves meeting alot of very interesting and certainly diverse people in the area. Today I worked with Patty who is a Paula Dean contest winner, for a photo shoot of her award winning apple pie. Patty won a spot on Paul Dean’s television show with her apple pie recipe and just from the mere sight of it, I can certainly understand why. I would like to describe how the pie tasted, but the editor invoked the “editors privilege” clause and downed the “quality control” piece before I could set down my camera. Decorum prevents me from mentioning the offending editor by name, but they know who they are.
Patty was so accommodating to our needs and was a great “model” to show of her winning apple pie. Sorry everyone, I tried to get the recipe from her but no dice. Here’s a shot from the photo shoot today:
