The Honorable Harold Weinbrecht – Mayor of Cary, NC

Again, the opportunities I get to meet and photograph interesting people in the area are astounding. I know people who would pay for my job – not much, but I could wrench a quarter or so out of them.:)I worked with the new Mayor of Cary, Harold Weinbrecht, in his office for a little more informal portraiture work. I got a chance to listen to Harold speak about his plans for Cary, including growth, the impending drought and other various topics. I was very impressed with his style of speaking on important issues, something I can best describe as “casual candor”. I just found out today that Cary has over 100,000 people living in it, making it the seventh largest city. “It’s no longer a bedroom community of Raleigh” was one memorable quote from the Mayor. It was my pleasure to work with him today and I look forward to seeing him around Cary in other events. As always, here’s a few photos from the session:

Harold Weinbrecht - Brian,

I enjoyed talking with you and Richard Greene. I thought your picture was great and Greene did a fantastic job capturing the things I was trying to say. I look forward to working with you in the future.

Take care,
Harold
