After a shoot this past week, another photographer and I were talking about different techniques for shooting and lighting. I decided to try something I had seen but never had the time to actually try. This lighting technique involves using a “cookie” (No, not like the toll house cookies) in between your light source and subject. The results can be rather unique and I think this one really turned out nicely. She said she wanted it as fine art – I wouldn’t go that far but it was pretty cool.
