This weekend was one I had been looking forward to for some time. The reason being is their ceremony would be held in a Buddhist temple and it would be my first time photographing this type of ceremony. Well, the wait was well worth it. The temple was absolutely beautiful adorned with eastern stylings (bamboo floors, orchids, exposed wood beams and yes, a large gold Buddha). As this was my first time, I was amazed at the differences between the western and eastern ceremonies. For example, the “marriage certificate” was signed during the ceremony by both Will & Lee as well as their parents. Ritual chants & prayers were held as well as an incense prayer.
I was very happy to play a role in Will & Lee’s day and I wish them all the best in their new lives together. Now on to the photos:
